Gravity Anomaly – New MTB Apparel Company

by Brian Mullin on May 31, 2013

Gravity Anomaly
is a new mountain biking apparel company based out of Denver that makes
American made products. They’ve been developing their lineup for the
past 24 months, and will be releasing their first patch of products
during the first of June. They’ll be tossing out the LongHaul and the Teamster shorts, and the Work Horse and Sun-Rides t-shirts, and some additional products will be coming out soon, including jerseys.

Everything
looks really interesting and technical, with great design ideas and
materials, for good comfort and durability. The LongHaul looks the
coolest to me, since I tend to like a long cut for my bike shorts.

LongHaul (company info)
The $89 LongHaul short was designed with epic all day big mountain
riding in mind. Incorporating soft and pliable materials for the ride
up, while still offering a little extra durability and coverage for
rapid descents.

Who is gravity anomaly

The term gravity anomaly originates from a technical geological concept
we don’t really understand. To us it’s more of a spiritual concept that
permeates the soul of every mountain biker. Gravity is the key
ingredient to what makes mountain biking…well mountain biking. Its
essential to the suffer of the pedal up and the shredding of the ride
down. It’s the force that makes us sweat a little more and push our
physical and mental limits. Its the magic elixir. Gravity is the common
thread no matter what type of mountain bike riding you’re into.

Similarly,
our clothing is designed for the All-Mountain rider in mind. It’s
versatile, comfortable and breathable for long summer X-Country rides,
but tough enough to endure the rigors of downhill riding.
