Looks
like a nice stand alone and bike Bluetooth speaker. I also like that
you can charge your phone with it’s integrated powerbank when your
mobile device gets low on power. If you are in the New York area, please participate in the Transportation Alternatives’ 25th
Annual NYC Century Bike Tour to make the NYC streets safer for biking.

NYNE Supports Vision Zero With NYC Century Bike Tour Sponsorship
Transportation Alternatives’ 25th Annual Tour to Take Place September 7

Oxnard, CA – August 12, 2014 –

NYNE, an innovator of lifestyle inspired audio products, is proud to announce it is once again a sponsor of Transportation Alternatives’ 25th Annual NYC Century Bike Tour. In an effort to support safer streets in New York City, NYNE is giving the first 10 tour participants to raise $1,250 for Vision Zero its Bluetooth bike speaker, the Cruiser. Vision Zero is a policy that aims to eliminate serious injuries and fatal traffic crashes through better enforcement, street design, and education.

“We’re thrilled that NYNE is supporting the NYC Century Bike Tour and this year’s Ride for Vision Zero,” said Samantha Dodds, director of corporate and individual giving at Transportation Alternatives. “The prospect of getting a Cruiser Bluetooth speaker will give riders an extra incentive as they raise funds for T.A.’s work to make New York City’s streets safer for all users — cyclists, pedestrians, and drivers alike.”

On September 7, more than 6,000 participants will ride 35, 55, 75 or 100 miles through New York City’s neighborhoods. To illustrate bicyclists’ right to the streets, there are no street closings and bicyclists ride with traffic and obey all traffic laws. The NYC Century Tour is an integral starting point for year-round bicycling and is the best way to experience the diversity and breadth of the city. “Bike safety is a concept that resonates with all of us here at NYNE and we are proud to be a part of Transportation Alternatives’ initiative to save lives on New York City streets,” said Arman Arami, president of NYNE. “Our Cruiser Bluetooth speaker was developed specifically with bike safety in mind and we are happy to give them away to the top fundraising participants.”

The NYNE Cruiser portable Bluetooth speaker allows bikers to listen to music without headphones so they are able to hear traffic around them and have a safer ride. It features Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC for quick and easy wireless pairing with a smartphone that riders can then keep tucked away in a pocket or backpack. With up to 10 hours of playtime, the Cruiser can play while you ride to work, at work, and during your ride home all on one charge. It even allows you to multitask and answer a phone call while riding with its built-in microphone. Additionally, the Cruiser features a built-in power bank for charging your mobile device when you’re low on battery.
