Skratch Labs Matcha Green Tea + Lemons Electrolyte Hydration Mix

by Brian Mullin on August 11, 2014

Skratch
Labs has released a new flavor with their excellent Electrolyte
Hydration Mix series. The Matcha Green Tea + Lemons has a refreshing
taste, an electrolyte profile to optimize hydration and all the benefits
of Matcha – a green tea ground and consumed whole rather than brewed –
including just a little bit of natural caffeine (8mg per 8 fl. oz).

Matcha
抹茶 is a finely milled or fine powder green tea and has been used for
centuries in the Japanese tea ceremony. The tea ceremony centers on the
preparation, serving, and drinking of Matcha, and can be an elaborate
multi-hour affair or something very simple with family and friends.
Matcha is used for teas, ice cream, favoring and dyes in noodles and
various other food products.

Grams Thoughts =>

The
Skratch Labs Electrolyte Hydration Mix is one of my favorite on the
market, and it’s not too sweet and never gives me any stomach issues. I
love Matcha, and have used it for years, and can’t wait to try out this
interesting flavor.

Company Fodder:
“This
is an all natural sports drink.  It replaces both the fluid and
electrolytes you lose in your sweat while providing just enough calories
to help fuel your working muscles. Flavored with only real fruit and
containing no artificial colors or preservatives, our drink mix won’t
upset your stomach, leave a bad taste in your mouth, or challenge your
IQ with tongue twisting chem-lab ingredients.  It just works better.
Maybe that’s why, for years, top athletes have been secretly replacing
their sponsors’ products with drink mix made from Skratch.  You Sweat.
We Hydrate.”
The Matcha Green Tea + Lemons comes in 1 lb resealable bag (20 16oz servings) for $19.50, a single serving pack of 20 for $35.00 and single serving for $1.95.
