One of Wolf Tooth Components first big claim to fame was their 42T cog that let you adapt a 10-speed cassette to an 11-42 wide range system. They have now delved into a slew of chainrings, cog and derailleur adapters, cog replacements, tools and softgoods. A few of the highlights were the direct mount steel chainrings with bash rings, elliptical chainrings, pogies, a bar bag, and a minimalistic chain guide.

Steel Drop-Stop Chainrings

Wolf Tooth Components have been creating durable stainless steel chainrings in 104 BCD sizes, and they’re now producing direct mount rings for SRAM cranks. The stainless steel chainrings will come in 24, 26, 28, and 30 tooth configurations with a 49mm chainline and will retail from $99-$110. They use 416 stainless steel that should make them last five times longer than their alloy counterparts. As a bonus, you can purchase an alloy bash ring for $46 to protect you precious chainrings. They’ll come in two sizes, one that covers the 24 to 26 and one for 28 to 30, and they directly bolt onto the steel chainrings.

Elliptical chainrings

They’re jumping on the elliptical chainring bandwagon and are producing them in multiple configurations in 104 BCD and direct mount for SRAM and Race Face Cinch. The alloy chainrings will come in 28-34 tooth for Race Face, 26-36 tooth for SRAM and a 32-36 tooth for 104 BCD, with prices ranging from $64-70.

GCX 42T Cog

The new GCX 42T Cog is a replacement for the big monster sprocket on the SRAM XX and X01 cassettes. The cog fits on the SRAM cassettes once the large one is worn out and lets you get additional life from the pricey SRAM system. The alloy cog comes in a slew of colors and retails for $90.

WTC Pogies

Singletrack Pogies

They had a very interesting set of handlebar mounted pogies for wintertime use. Their Singletrack Pogies are part of their softgoods product lineup, and they offer a lot of flexibility for temperature variance. They can have the cuff folded down for milder weather, folded up and unzipped for colder temperatures and finally for maximum warmth they can be folded and zipped up. The pogies use rip-stop nylon construction and are lightweight, water resistant and durable and will retail for $125.

wtc bar bag

Bar Bag

They also have a nifty Bar Bag that has .6 liters of capacity has a clear top cover that uses a MagCro Latch closure system. The Bar Bag comes in a left and right version and retails for $40.

wtc chain guide

Chain Guide

They are also working on a chain guide that has a very minimalist design with just a few parts, and it will have an optional bash guard. It will connect to the bottom brackets ISCG 05 mount, and the upper guide will swing out of the way of the cranks by removing one bolt.
