IMBA Shorts

Showers Pass released the first of their collaborative line with IMBA. The IMBA Shorts offer a comfortable and stylish fit so you can focus on your ride. Designed for rugged terrain, the IMBA Shorts feature a hidden adjustable waist cinch and stretch articulation on the low back for the perfect custom fit. Highly breathable lightweight stretch woven fabric moves with you, while thigh vents offer enhanced cooling when temperatures rise. The 11″ inseam is designed to hit just at the knee. 4 pockets (2 side pockets, 1 vent pocket, and 1 zippered back pocket)provide ample space for phone, keys or a bottle opener. Subtle reflective trim provides low light visibility. Showers Pass is the official apparel sponsor of IMBA.

5% of net proceeds of the IMBA Shorts benefit the International Mountain Bike Association.

Waterproof Gloves and Socks

They were showing off their new waterproof gloves and socks at their booth, both of which should be available later in the year. I like keeping my feet dry, but I find the additional thickness to accomplish the waterproofness makes them not fit in normal shoes, so they’re more suited for winter time or off season riding. The new socks are supposed to be 45% lighter than the original version and will retail for $35.

The gloves were very intriguing to me and would be very useful for rainstorms, hailstorms and anytime you get caught out in inclement weather. The gloves were comfortable and stretchy and the silicone grippers will help to hold onto things. The lightweight and breathable waterproof gloves should retail for about $40.
