Under Armor has some exciting new products at the show, such as the new Horizon BPF running shoe featuring Michelin outsole and lugs, the updated Horizon RTT GTX with a Gore-Tex membrane. They also have some innovative outdoor apparel, including the highly functional ColdGear Reactor Terrain Hybrid 1/2 Zip shirt, the Terrain Hybrid Pants and the Atlas GORE Active Jacket.
Horizon BPF
It features an anatomically molded one-piece monocoque upper with a cast PU support for unrivaled protection and durability. The lightweight, quick drying, air mesh upper keeps you dry and comfortable on long runs, and the molded collar foam package provides additional comfort. The highly breathable air mesh tongue promotes airflow to keep your feet cool. The Charged foam pucks in the heel and forefoot offer responsive comfort, and the lightweight EVA midsole provides optimal cushioning. It utilizes the Michelin Oc Outsole Compound for excellent traction, and the Michelin Wil Dig Decent’R Outsole lug pattern sheds mud and debris.
Horizon RTT GTX
It features a durable PU and textile upper for breathability and protection and uses a reinforced welded synthetic in critical areas. It uses the Gore Invisible Fit technology with the Gore-Tex Membrane for water intrusion. It has a mesh heel with dual protection welds and a molded foam package for comfort along with a Charged foam puck in the heel for responsive comfort. The lightweight EVA midsole offers for optimal cushioning and the high traction rubber lugs outsole work on a variety of terrain.
ColdGear Reactor Terrain Hybrid 1/2 Zip
It utilizes the lightweight ColdGear Reactor insulation which is sandwiched between performance fabrics through front and back body for warmth and breathability. Luxe, stretch knit through side panels and sleeves makes for a perfect fit and aids with breathability. The material wicks sweat away and dry quickly, so the garment does stay wet. Woven, wind resistant front body and sleeve panels provide added protection from the elements. Airvent fabric through the back body allows excess heat to dump which prevents overheating issues. An internal chest pocket with a built-in seatbelt to securely hold your smartphone.
Terrain Hybrid Pant
The pants feature a durable softshell material at the lower leg with a warm brushed inner layer which makes for the perfect combination of protection and breathability. It utilizes a soft stretch knit through back of the leg for breathability, an exposed elastic wordmark waistband for fit and comfort. It also has a secure, zip back pocket that fits a phone and has bonded, angled cuffs.
For warmth, it uses the lightweight ColdGear Reactor insulation which is sandwiched between performance fabrics through front and back body for warmth and breathability. The GORETEX WINDSTOPPER technology is used for windproofness and breathability throughout the front of the leg where protection is needed the most.
Atlas GORE Active Jacket
It uses the GORE-TEX Active construction which is 100% waterproof but still provides breathability. The UA StormProof offers a breathable, protective membrane and it’s fully taped seams for 100% waterproof performance. It utilizes a 3-layer bonded fabric with a durable, smooth exterior and soft tricot interior. It features vents at the front and back yokes for strategic airflow while remaining waterproof and has two zippered chest pockets. It has elongated cuffs with thumb loops for added protection, moldable hood brim, adjustable hood, and hem, and lastly a low profile hook, and loop at the center front allows for venting without distractions.
