This website and its predecessor Grams Light Bikes have been up and running since February 2007 and have always specialized in technical and authoritative articles. We mainly write, test, and review mountain bike-related products, which cover a full breadth of the outdoor and bicycle industry and include products used during bike riding and pre and post-rides.

Like most sports enthusiasts, we also participate in other outdoor pursuits across the entire spectrum of sports. Those sports include climbing, hiking, running, skiing, kayaking, backpacking, bikepacking, camping, etc. We take those same strengths and a good dose of insanity to our reviewing and writing on outdoor products, creating technical, in-depth, and hyperbolic articles.
