Session Helmet
Comprised of proven lightweight in-mold Aerocore construction with an integrated skeletal structure, the All-Mountain Session utilizes Koroyd technology in strategic, zonal impact areas to offer safeguarded coverage for riders to charge harder with confidence. Smith helmets are created to absorb direct impacts efficiently, and all colorways of the Session include a multi-directional impact protection system (MIPS) lining that reduces rotational forces that the brain is exposed to during oblique impacts to the head. When combined with MIPS, the helmet liner is separated from the head by a low-friction slip plane that allows the head to slide during impact and may reduce instances of traumatic brain injuries.
The inclusion of significant air vents across the top of the full-featured helmet provided maximum ventilation for long climbs and warm weather and combined with Smith’s AirEvac ventilation system of internal air channels to increase airflow through the helmet, especially when worn with Smith MTB goggles and performance eyewear. The inner lining, featuring X-Static with Reactive Cooling Performance, offers anti-microbial properties to help absorb sweat while riding.
For ultimate eyewear integration, the Session features additional channels on the front of the helmet for easy sunglass storage, and the three-position visor rotates upward to fit various goggle positions. The addition of the VaporFit adjustable fit system and ultra-light single layer webbing allows increased comfort.
The new Session helmet retails for $160 and comes in six colors.
Network Helmet
New for 2018, the Network helmet gets the MIPS treatment and is the perfect blend of style, versatility, and performance. Cyclists will welcome the clean, modern design combined with the superior protection and ventilation properties that only Koroyd can provide. Koroyd is featured in strategic, zonal impact areas offering increased protection where it matters most. As eyewear integration is mandatory for this rider, the AirEvac system works to pull air off of your eyewear to prevent fogging. Pass-through channels allow eyewear to be easily stored on the front of the helmet. Included removable visor adds utility and style. The Network retails for $160 and comes in seven colors.
The Dusty Rose color scheme gets a matching pair of their Attack sunglasses.
