ProTaper EVO Stem
Hayes has dropped the old Answer name from its handlebars, pedals, and stems, and those products are now rebranded under the ProTaper product suite.
The new ProTaper EVO stem had hours and hours of 3D modeling, countless FEA revisions, and tons of real-world ride testing. This design work and QA/QC produced a light, stiff stem that can handle tremendous forces from every conceivable angle. The stem is 3D Forged and machined from 6061 aluminum and utilizes Torx-head fasteners and comes in 35mm and 31.8mm clamp diameters.
