ArroWhere was showing their innovative reflective arrow gear for improved safety while night riding in traffic, while MRP is releasing the new lightweight and shorter travel Ribbon SL fork and Effetto Mariposa had their new smaller and lighter Giustaforza torque wrench, and lastly Praxis Works has added the alloy Cadet Power Crank that utilizes the 4iiii PRECISION power meter.

ArroWhere

The ArroWhere Arrow design can be seen in low beam car headlights at a distance of as much as 1/4 mile from the wearer. Thanks to the ubiquitous message contained in the arrow design, drivers and other road users subconsciously and automatically react to the reflected ArroWhere Arrow as it guides them to move in a direction away from the wearer/user. The system is useful for cyclists, pedestrians, runners and others outside all year round.

ArroWhere Backpack Cover

The ArroWhere Backpack Cover means that you can wear a cycling backpack and still be visible. Our backpack cover is so visible from behind that some riders do not wear a high visibility jacket with it during the day. Our unique, patented backpack cover design allows the user’s backpack to be still accessible with the ArroWhere Backpack Cover on. This means that a user can quickly get objects in and out of their backpack without the hassle of taking the entire cover off (as demonstrated in pictures). There is a tab on the bottom that allows for any bike light that has a clip.

The 100% polyester, waterproof, windbreaker backpack cover is available in different sizes including Medium for $24.99 (<28L capacity) and Large for $29.99 (28-45L). Medium is recommended for standard 28L Daypacks and cross-panniers.

Effetto Mariposa Giustaforza

Effetto Mariposa’s long-standing high standard of torque wrenches – the Giustaforza – just got even more precise and more affordable. The new, smaller Giustaforza ratchets its torque range back to 1-8 Nm putting the GIustaforza in a league of its own. Now ten years old and with a range of 2-16 Nm, the Giustaforza has long been considered the best in the category by professional mechanics. The precision focused click-in feature of the new Giustaforza 1-8, and the sturdy construction remain the same. The 1-8 takes all the technical features of the 2-16 to a smaller body, retaining the same reliability as well as the ability to recalibrate. The lower range hits its peak when and where the torque matters most – with sensitive bolts  – where tightening values can be easily exceeded unbeknownst to the user. Values over 8 Nm and up to 20 Nm can also be reached through scale readings top out at 8 Nm. The smaller head allows it to fit into tight spaces, such as seat clamp bolts, that are otherwise near inaccessible.

At 135 grams, the smaller aluminum bodied Giustaforza 1-8 does double duty as a portable mini-tool. Traveling triathletes will appreciate having precision at their fingertips. A loud click and free movement of 5° indicates that the precise desired torque has reached (within +-4%).  The Giustaoforza can be purchased alone for $115 and comes packaged in a sealed tube. It is compatible with any 1/4” hex bits. The Giustaforza 1-8 Deluxe ($160) comes packaged in a durable and practical Wrap-Pack and includes the following bits: 10×25 mm HEX2, HEX2.5, HEX3, HEX6, T10, T15, T20, T30, -3/16, +PH1; 3x 100mm Hex4, Hex5, T25; and a 1x100mm extension. MSRP $115.
