Mantis Trailer

The Mantis is Taxa Outdoors most massive travel trailer, and it measures 19 feet long, weighs 3,000 pounds, and can sleep up to four adults and can be stored in most larger garages. The Mantis has a center roof section that pops up to allow standing room in the kitchen and bathroom areas, yet folds down to a height of 6 foot 10 inches for improved aerodynamics during towing and storage in your garage.

It features a wood kitchen countertop, a Dometic stove and sink combo, a Dometic refrigerator, and a dinner table. It has a fresh water capacity of 20 gallons, with a 22-gallon gray water tank and wet bath with a cassette toilet. Additionally, it features LED lighting, USB ports for charging electronics, and storage areas under the bed and kitchen counter that utilize simple milk crates for baskets. The Mantis was designed for off-the-grid use, and it’s powered by 12-volt batteries and has two 20lb Liquid Propane tanks with a cover by the hitch.

The trailer has a queen-size bed at the rear-end and a couch up front that forms a bunk bed system for kids. The exterior of the Mantis is Kynar-Painted and features UV treated aluminum panels, the interior has a powder-coated steel frame, and tinted windows with screens and shades. It comes standard with all-terrain tires, a 15-inch aluminum spare, torsion axle suspension, front stabilizer jacks, exterior shower hookups, an 8-foot patio awning and wiring for solar power.

Besides the large Mantis, they make the 15′ Cricket, the 12′ Tigermoth, the 10′ Whooly trailer.

Lance

Lance makes RV trailers from 14 to 24 feet long and truck campers for full-sized trucks from 6 to 11 feet long. They had the largest truck camper on display at the show, the model 1172, which is their flagship double-slide version of luxury in the wilderness. The 1172 camper features giant windows and skylights that bathe the interior making it light and airy.

There’s the “Super Slide” dinette opposite the dry bath and a galley with flip-up counter extension. The big news comes as the rear wall slides out with a sofa incliner for your relaxation.
