Küat Releases the Class 4 and Class 2 Kayak Racks

Küat Launches Two New Rooftop Kayak Racks with the Class 2 and Class 4 kayak racks.

Küat, an industry leader in bicycle transport, is expanding their successful line of hitch and cargo racks to include two kayak rack models. The Class 2 and Class 4 kayak racks fill the need for on-car kayak transportation and do so with Küat’s singular focus on design and dedication to quality.

The Class 4 is Küat’s top tier kayak rack, designed to transport one boat on the rooftop of a vehicle.

The rack’s hinged clamshell design is slim and easy to use: when not in use the rack folds down to stay out of the way and keep a slim profile on top of the vehicle, avoiding clearance issues and impacts to gas mileage.

 

The Class 4 mounts to any vehicle crossbar, both factory or aftermarket, including t-channel bars, with keyed locks for complete security.

Available in two colors, the Class 4 retails at $229 at dealers throughout North America.

 

The Class 2 is a more accessible and fundamental rack, but with the same commitment to design and quality. At $159 MSRP and available solely in black, the Class 2’s design focuses on minimal moving parts, while still mounting to nearly all roof bars. Like the Class 4, the Class 2 fits on any type of vehicle and includes a bow and stern line.
