Osprey Soelden/Sopris Pro Packs
The Pro version of the Osprey Soelden (men’s) and Sopris (women’s) backcountry pack utilizes an Alpride E1 built-in airbag system for avalanche safety. It uses a supercapacitor technology electronic system that doesn’t use the typical canisters for its operation, making it safe for airline travel. It can charge the system from two AA batteries in 40-minutes or via its USB interface in 20. It has storage locations for a snow shovel, probe, skins, and other gear, and one side of the shoulder strap has an integrated zippered radio cord or hydration slot. It has carry options for skis, snowboards, and helmets, all of which won’t interfere with the functionality of the airbag. The Soelden has a 32-liter capacity, and Sopris has 30-liters with a women’s specific shorter torso, and they’ll retail for $1,200.
Yakima CBX Solar Cargo Box
The Yakima CBX Solar Cargo box revolutionizes rooftop carrier gear-hauling by integrating a solar panel into its top. The 36-watt/5-volt Sunfalre solar panel is capable of charging smartphones, cameras, and other small electronics via its two USB ports. The system can produce power even in low-light conditions. It features an easy to use removable torque knob hardware system for easy installation and security, a premium top sheet, and universal roof-rack fit accommodates any shape of crossbars and their usual dual-sided opening for easy access on both sides of the vehicle. It will retail for $1,299.
GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Pro Stove
The GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Pro two-burner stove brings powerful camp cooking capabilities and innovations to an ultra-compact package. The stove folds out into a full-size table-top stove, with side windshields, but shrinks down to just 1.4 inches for space-saving storage. The stove includes twin 11K BTU high-efficiency burners and retracting legs, as well as a non-stick coated boil-over trail for quick, low-water cleanup.
Marker Duke PT 16 Binding
The innovative Marker Duke PT 16 binding offers downhill skiing safety and performance along with alpine touring capabilities and weighs in at 1350g. The front toepiece rolls forward to provide a pintech touring capacity and can be detached and stuffed into a pack for 250-gram weight savings. When the front is clicked down into its baseplate in its normal downhill-specific mode, it offers full safety release properties from DIN 6-16. When the Inter Pivot 3 heel lock and walk brake system includes a neutral walking mode and 10° climbing aid. It also comes in a Duke PT 12 version with DIN 4-12 rating, the Hollow Linkage 2 heel, and a 1180g weight.
Bolle Ryft Helmet
Bolle’s Ryft features an innovative ventilation system with large holes to help facilitate improved airflow, yet it still has impressive structural strength. It has F1 inspired rear spoilers and vents for a sleek look, along with front grooves to ease sliding goggles on and off. It features a BOA binding system and pockets to hold speakers. It will retail for $300.
Rossignol BlackOps Skis
For 2021 season Rossignol revamping their successful 7 series and morphing it into the BlackOps lineup. The all-new BlackOps range has been developed with a strong focus on material sourcing and the product lifecycle. Each ski has been constructed using PEFC certified poplar, or FSC certified paulownia wood cores combined with a recycled top sheet, base, and edge materials to help reduce our environmental impact. The Sender TI should be next year’s hot ticket for Rossi skis.
Giro Contour Goggle
The Giro Contour goggle was designed in tandem with ZEISS Optics and features a new toric lens shape that provides a vast field of view, along with crisp visibility and a premium VIVID lens. The Expansion View Technology + system offers an incredible field of view, while the EVAK Vent Technology and anti-fog coating prevent fogging during high-intensity efforts. It comes with two, injection-molded toric VIVID lenses with Optics by ZEISS that can be quickly changed using the Quick-Change, Magnetic-Assisted Lens System. The Contour goggle retails for $280.
