DPS Skis

Pagoda Tour Skis

The DPS Pagoda Tour’s ski lineup mates their proprietary carbon laminate with a combination of ash and paulownia woods, and a purpose-built aerospace grade foam. This construction offers an incredible mix of minimal weight, power, energy, and dampness that rivals front-side oriented skis at an ideal touring weight. The fat and light Pagoda Tour 112 RP (1,560 g @ 184 cm) will be the ideal ski for the backcountry skiers in the Rockies seeking more efficient powder hunting. It comes in the 112 RR, 100 RR, 106 C2, 94 C2, and 87 C2 versions.

They also have a new adjustable backcountry pole that has a pliable sticky section below the grip to hold onto the pole when side traversing on steep slopes.

The skis are designed for hard and mixed snow conditions, and they’re easily tamed with their all-new method of integrating core, sidewall, and laminates into one cohesive element that optimizes overall performance. Fabricated with two hardwood species of different densities and grain orientations, along with innovative new sidewall technology, the engineered an original method for horizontally combining these elements to produce a supremely damp and stable platform. It creates a breakthrough on snow feel that combines both excitement and liveliness, with simultaneous dampness and control. High-speed carbon ski technology is here.

Claim Jumper and Prospector 106/96 – Mother Lode, Strata, Heritage Tour

Meier Skis

Meier Handmade Skis have eco-initiatives for 2020, and the line focuses on waste reduction, higher quality base materials and tops sheets, and few and non-toxic resins. They now use a small adhesive band instead of single-use shrink wrap over the ski/snowboard. A durable hydrophobic nylon top sheet with printing on the underside boosts durability and aesthetic appeal. Instead of traditional epoxy, the non-toxic Super Sap used is derived from pine resin and recycled vegetable oil for greener manufacturing. The extra-thick base material and edges deliver more turns and more turns over the life of the ski for a long-lasting product.

Meier’s eco-friendly and high-performance skis and snowboards get their unique character from their signature aspen and beetle kill pine wood core. They harvest the trees from the western slope of Colorado with responsible silvicultural techniques to help mitigate wildfire risk and give trees that died in the beetle kill pine epidemic a second life.

Claim Jumper

The brand new Claim Jumper, a nod to Colorado’s 1880s heritage, is their ideal powder ski. It has powder friendly 149-124-140mm dimensions with a 22m turn radius.

The Prospector

The Prospector is built for the backcountry and touring to be light on the uphill and stable on the down, whether it turns you earn or lift-served. It’s offered in two widths underfoot, 96 or 106, to find a float for every skier. It has just the right amount of carbon fiber to maintain a superior on-snow feel and lighter fiberglass and the most durable base material available for inevitable backcountry rock encounters. The Prospector is an ideal and unique addition to our fleet of over 16 models of skis and snowboards.

Rossignol

BlackOps Skis

For 2021 season Rossignol revamping their successful 7 series and morphing it into the BlackOps lineup. The all-new BlackOps range has been developed with a strong focus on material sourcing and the product lifecycle. Each ski has been constructed using PEFC certified poplar, or FSC certified paulownia wood cores combined with a recycled top sheet, base, and edge materials to help reduce our environmental impact. The Sender TI should be next year’s hot ticket for Rossi skis.

Apparel

Rossi added some fun new jackets, pants, and base layers to their existing lineup. Some of the latest gear that utilizes the waterproof and breathable Sympatex material and the colors and patterns match their revised BlackOps ski lineup. Of course, being a French ski company, they have their typical wild colors and flair for apparel.
