Get Your Wheel Out of the Way

Though far from glamorous, routine drivetrain cleaning is essential for component longevity, especially during winter. The Robert Axle Project’s Drive Thru dummy hub/chain keeper makes the job easy, replacing your rear wheel to allow uninhibited access to the drivetrain and rear triangle for easy cleaning.

Based on a design by legendary frame builder Chris McGovern, the Drive Thru retains the ability to shift, making cleaning inside your rear triangle or degreasing you derailleur pulleys especially convenient. The Drive Thru is at home everywhere from the pits at a ‘cross race to your workbench at home. The knurled axle stud head makes installation and removal easy, even with wet or greasy hands. The pulley wheel is captured by an o-ring on the axle but can be easily removed to fit flat in a toolbox.

It allows you to fully rotate your cranks and shift through your complete range of gears while protecting the frame. Installs simply with one hand, and is quick and easy to change between bikes. The Drive Thru is also great or packing the bike for transport!
