The Sweet Protection Arbitrator helmet converts from a highly ventilated trail helmet to a full-fledged carbon fiber downhill beast by the flick of a switch. The Arbitrator MIPS is also Downhill certified: ASTM1952 Weight: 550g + 430g chin guard.

Whether you’re using the helmet in full-face downhill mode or open-face trail mode, the Arbitrator MIPS uses two different retention systems to ensure a proper fit for each. The helmet is well-ventilated with large intake and exhaust ports as well as a Superficial Temporal Artery Cooling Channel that cools the temporal artery without sacrificing protection for your temples.

The 4-piece shell is constructed from a mix of carbon fiber and polycarbonate for an impressive strength-to-weight ratio and features an EPS liner to cushion the force of high- and low-speed impacts. The helmet also features a MIPS rotational impact protection system to mitigate the harmful effects of rotational and shearing forces that can happen in certain types of crashes.

• Fit: Occigrip Turn Dial – Makes the helmet easily adjustable with a low volume mechanism. The Occigrip construction provides a firm and comfortable fit and prevents the helmet from rolling on your head. Adjustable in both reach and height.
• Comfort Pads: Molded Comfort Pads with soft and comfortable foam wrapped in an anti-allergenic, moisture-wicking fabric. Each helmet is delivered with two pad thicknesses for easy fitting.
• Vents: STACC Ventilation – STACC is short for Superficial Temporal Artery Cooling Channel. A front vent, an internal channel, and an exhaust vent cool down the temporal artery without exposing your temples which are the most vulnerable area of the head. Patent Pending.
• DOV Ventilation: Ventilation optimized through digital airflow simulation. This ensures the air flows well through vents and internal channels at different speeds.
