Showers Pass Continues Innovation in Waterproof Jacket Technology
Portland, OR – Showers Pass today introduces the Cloudburst Jacket: the first rain jacket built by the 23-year industry veteran using their new eliteAIR™ fabric technology. The soft and flexible feel and whopping 43K breathability rating push performance to the next level while still offering waterproof protection.
“Our new fabric had to offer total freedom of movement with no restrictions while utilizing fully seam-sealed construction for protection against wind and rain,” says George Dolack, Product Development Manager at Showers Pass. “Whether you’re training for a triathlon or just looking to get in a few miles after a long day of Zoom calls, the Cloudburst can turn your rainy slog into a puddle splashing adventure without hindering performance.”
It also features a tailored fit, full-zip front, and large core vents that double as mesh pockets. Reflective accents throughout improve visibility in low-light conditions, and a back pocket holds essentials or stows the jacket when not in use.
“Two years ago, we set out to design a performance jacket unlike any other in the marketplace, and I’m extremely proud of what we have achieved,” says Kyle Ranson, CEO of Showers Pass. “It’s turned out to be surprisingly versatile, great for training in the saddle, running or any other challenge you throw at it.”
