A-Series History:
Troy Lee Designs was always known for the best-in-class full-face Daytona Series, not new to creating industry-leading helmets. But for years, TLD athletes and customers wanted a half shell trail helmet. In 2013 the long-awaited a1 helmet was born and brought TLD safety and style with DNA action. Four years later, the A2 was born and was the first MTB helmet to offer high-speed and low-speed energy management protection with EPS and EPP impact foam co-molded together. Both helmets remain in the lineup with the A3 so every customer can find what’s best for them with a wide range of features, benefits, and price points.
