MT500 Spray Short 

A summer’s day in Scotland rarely means you are not subjected to at least a little moisture (and we’re not talking about sweat) during a ride. Never mind the other three seasons. The MT500 Spray Short is designed to excel in damp, variable conditions. A waterproof, taped seat panel sheds off the worst of the water kicked up from your back wheel whilst unrestricted movement and comfort are maintained using a durable stretch nylon fabric for the rest of the short.

Whilst only the seat panel of the shorts is waterproof, a DWR treatment has been applied throughout to help water bead and not soak into the shorts. As with all of Endura’s DWR-treated garments, an environmentally friendly PFC-free DWR has been used in line with Endura’s commitment to reducing our environmental footprint.

These shorts have been designed with knee pads in mind, with the leg length optimized to keep the pad-gap police at bay.

Nylon is a great material for garments subject to abuse, such as the rigors of mountain biking. To further amplify the durability, twin needle stitching has been used to reinforce critical seams.

Hummvee Short Ⅱ  with Liner 

Hummvee. Because icons can be rugged as well as beautiful. This much-loved icon of the MTB scene was originally developed by working with London delivery couriers back in the day. We asked them what they needed in a pair of urban cycling shorts, and Hummvee was born. So versatile a product, it was adopted by mountain-bikers and can be seen on both the trail and the daily commute. It comes complete with a padded liner short.

The short is made in a tough nylon mini-ripstop fabric with a DWR finish for effective spray protection. Critical seams are also twin-needled for added security. There are no less than 6 pockets on this short: 2 rear Velcro® pockets, 2 zipped side pockets, and 2 smaller thigh pockets for your change and keys. Tried and tested, this short has outlived many a bike, and we have worked hard to ensure that its durability will not disappoint. They incorporate tough nylon and are double stitched in critical areas, making them nearly indestructible.

This product comes complete with an Endura Clickfast™ detachable liner. Just pull them on, and you are ready to roll. Icons can be rugged as well as beautiful. And our Original Hummvee Short is proof of that. But we recognize that there is a need for a short that is perhaps a little more understated for some folk with a more discrete sartorial code. Enter the all-new Hummvee Chino Short. We like to think of him as the Original Hummvee’s ever-so-slightly smarter cousin.
