Vermont Gloves – The Vermonter

Vermont Glove’s Vermonter work glove has long been a favorite among those who work with their hands. Still, with the introduction of the Uphill Skier a couple of years ago, and the company’s shift toward outdoor branding and marketing, they’re starting to see the Vermonter show up in a new setting—trail workdays.

Thoughts => I do 70-80 hours of trail work each year for my local trail organization, and I am super tough on gloves. I tend to use some cheap gloves that are disposable after a handful of uses. Having a durable, long-lived, and well-made glove that will last a long period of time makes sense. It’s better for the environment and keeps less waste in the build process and the trash. Think green!

The entire glove is made from goat leather, so it won’t dry out and stays soft far longer than traditional cowhide gloves. Reinforced outside seams add additional comfort as well as increased durability. Once the glove is broken in, those seams roll off the fingertips leaving dexterity intact. It comes in XS, S, M, L, and XL sizes and retails for $100.

This glove is equally at home braaping a chainsaw, weeding the roses, or cracking a cold one after a long day of kicking ass.

  • Durable goatskin leather stays soft and dexterous
  • Hand-stitched with heavy-duty nylon thread
  • Outside seams for superior comfort
  • Double-stitched fingertip seams for protection & durability
  • Vein protector for longevity
