Fusion

The Lowa Fusion is a new shoe of its class for Lowa that is super comfy, lightweight, and has an aggressive GT sole. It will retail for $170 and come in both men’s and women’s sizing.

It has a 3D injected midsole with a knitted upper on top of it and a quick lace lacing system. It was designed for post hiking or other activities, though it can be used for normal trail and wear usage. It has the Lowa PU monowrap system, which is more pronounced on the men’s model. The monowrap offers good torsional support but keeps the weight down.

Alpine SL GTX

A breakthrough in alpine boot design, this next-gen concept was developed in conjunction with alpinist David Göttler who sought a super-lightweight high altitude training/acclimatization boot. The flexible LOWA REPTEX abrasion-resistant upper is injected with PU “scales” that mimic a reptile’s protective skin, thus replacing a traditional heavy rubber rand, while the VIBRAM® Alp Trac® SL sole features Litebase technology that substantially reduces the weight and thickness of the sole without affecting its traction or wear resistance. An elastic heel strap provides firm heel hold, and it comes pre-laced with elastic laces as well as with a separate pair of laces for when you want a more precise foot-hold.
