Lizard Skins, a longtime industry leader in grips and handlebar tape, is adding a bold Lime Green color to its iconic Northshore grip line, which until now consisted mainly of neutral and earth tones. The Northshore is one of the Lizard Skins all-time best-selling grips; it has been a mainstay of the line for 16 years.

The Northshore grip — which for the last few years has been Lizard Skins’ most popular Dual Lock-on, thanks to its grip and shock absorbency — is now offered in 6 colors: Graphite, Gum, Black, Teal, Deep Red, and the new Lime Green.

“The Northshore has been in our lineup for 16 years, and we thought it was time to brighten things up with the lime green. The Northshore has historically been neutral or earth tone colors, and this new version we hope will keep it as a best seller for a few more years,” says Ryan Huntington, Lizard Skins’ Sales and Marketing Director.

Based on another iconic grip from OURY, a brand Lizard Skins now owns, the Northshore pattern of multiple square pads, equally spaced with channels in between, is partially borrowed from that original, highly popular design.

“I love this grip; we made it look like the OURY grip that everyone loved,” adds Brian Fruit, Founder and President. “We have some key products that have been the foundation of the company like our bike protection and some key grips like the Northshore – which I’m glad is still a favorite for many people.”
