Db Snow Pro Vest
The Db Snow Pro Vest is a wearable avalanche safety layer for skiers and snowboarders designed to encourage preparedness in all types of terrain, including lift-serve, off-piste, and backcountry areas where avalanche airbags may not typically be considered. Developed with Olympic Gold Medal snowboarder Sage Kotsenburg, the Snow Pro Vest allows for freedom of movement and enhanced weight distribution for an unencumbered riding experience compared to backcountry backpacks.
Integrating the Safeback SBX system into the vest provides user-friendly protection against suffocation for 90 minutes without needing a mouthpiece during avalanche burial. This technology has been tested by IMFGA-certified guides, search and rescue organizations, Norwegian Special Forces, and Norwegian School of Winter Warfare military personnel. Safeback SBX
Safeback SBX is the world’s first active air supply system designed to keep the user breathing during burial in an avalanche or tree well without requiring a mouthpiece.
The system is only certified for use in freeride and avalanche packs that follow Safeback’s integration guidelines and specifications. These enable free airflow through the system, protect it from damage, and ensure that the SBX stays in place through the forces of the avalanche.

After activating the system with the T-shaped handle on the shoulder strap, the SBX starts pumping in the air from the air intake window on the pack and through to the outlets on the shoulder straps. Avalanche snow is composed of at least 50% air. During the burial, the SBX uses the air in the snowpack as the victim’s fresh air supply, continuously pumping it up to the breathing area for the duration of the burial. This air diffuses through the porous crystal structure of snow, simultaneously delivering fresh air to breathe in. and pushing away the CO2 that has been exhaled.
On a full charge, this system can continuously supply air for 90 minutes at -22°F / -30°C.

The all-new WNDR Intention 108 represents the possibilities unlocked by creating performance materials with biotechnology and materials science. This ski features our most advanced construction yet, with two components derived from microalgae oil and one derived from reclaimed production waste – all of which we designed in-house specifically for use in a backcountry ski.
- Algal Wall is a biobased cast polyurethane sidewall derived from microalgae, formulated to boost strength from edge to edge and deliver better damping performance than a traditional, petroleum-based ABS sidewall.
- Algal Core is a composite of domestically sourced aspen and biobased polyurethane hard foam, which reduces weight and provides optimal damping characteristics.
- Spiral Plate is a boot plate derived from our own production waste that diverts waste from the landfill and delivers better binding screw retention strength than the traditional maple inserts it replaces.
