Astana-Qazaqstan Team Standout Mark Cavendish to ride in Air Pro helmet
Helmet specialists Limar announced their 2023 team roster, led by Astana-Qazaqstan Team standout Mark Cavendish, Team Israel Premier-Tech Roland, and the Topeak-Ergon mountain bike team.
One of the most successful World Tour road cycling teams in modern cycling history, the Astana-Qazaqstan team has added British-born sprinter Mark Cavendish to their all-star rider list. The team will compete in the UCI World Tour outfitted in Limar’s newest Air Pro and Air Atlas helmets. Virginia-born rider Joe Dombrowski is completing his second year on the Astana team, and topped the podium of the 2021 Giro d’Italia race.
Mark Cavendish is one of the greatest road sprinters of all time, sharing the record of a phenomenal 34 Tour-de-France stage wins with cycling legend Eddy Merckx. Cavendish will continue on the World Tour in 2023, where part of his focus will be surpassing the all-time record for the number of Tour de France stage wins and giving the team a unique chance at making history.
In the 2022 season, Cavendish won Milano-Torino, a stage at the Giro d’Italia, Tour of Oman, and UAE Tour.
“The joy of riding my bike and the hunger to continue winning are as bright as ever,” said Mark Cavendish. “So I’m looking forward to being part of a successful team, whether working with the team for wins, crossing the line first myself, or cheering on my teammates. As always, the objective will be for us to stand on the top podium.”
Israel Premier Tech Roland is outfitted with custom Air Atlas helmets to lead them to victory.
Team Israel Premier Tech Roland is also outfitted with the Air Atlas in a custom Roland Team colorway. The team consists of women from all around the world, and they already began their racing season in January at the Santos Tour Down Under. The team recently signed Olympic gold medalist Anna Kiesenhofer to join Caroline Baur, Hannah Buch, and Tamara Dronova.

With riders like Jeff Kerkove, Yuki Ikeda, Leadville 100-legend Dave Weins, and his son Cooper Weins, the Topeak-Ergon Racing Team will continue to make their mark internationally.
