The original Revel Ranger brought the efficiency and performance of the Canfield Balance Formula to a Cross Country bike, and it has been punching well above its weight class since its introduction in 2020. The reworked and revitalized New Ranger cranks things up another notch with a redesigned rear end offering more lateral stiffness, increased tire and chainring clearance, and a one-tool system for improved serviceability and longer bearing life.

Revel has taken one of the favorite bikes in the lineup and made it even better! The new Ranger features an all-new rear triangle, links, hardware, and SRAM’s forward-compatible UDH Derailleur hanger.

The new Ranger shares the effective and simple hardware design introduced and raved about with Rail29. This time it was taken further and gave the new Ranger a collet axle design with larger 15mm bearings on the lower rearward pivot. This increases frame stiffness, improves clearance, makes for easier maintenance, and a quieter ride.

Revel has created and introduced an all-new set of links to take advantage of this new hardware design and has adapted the SRAM’s UDH derailleur hanger to keep the New Ranger compatible with the latest and greatest drivetrain technologies.
