KAV Sports

KAV makes custom-ordered 3D-printed helmets. The current models are the Portola and their top-of-the-line Portola: Kaze.

This year they are offering custom multi-colors as part of their Color Exploration Project instead of their previous black, gray, or white colors. You choose five different color options (dual tone) for the various panels of the helmets.

  • HEX Honeycomb Structure
    • 3D printing enables us to create a crumple zone that can compress almost 3x more than traditional helmets.
    • This structure allows the helmet to shear when needed or compress when required based on the impact eliminating the need for both MIPS or an extra layer.
  • Custom Fit & Made For You
    • Every KAV helmet is made to order and begins with your seven unique measurements. Each helmet starts with a one-on-one fit session to take your exact measurements. Resulting in the best helmet made for you.
    • The whole process from order to delivery of your custom helmet takes as little as two weeks + shipping.
  • Net Zero Emissions & Made In The USA
    • Protecting the individual while harming the planet is not a compromise we’re willing to make. Each KAV helmet is made to order to your exact measurements in Redwood City, California: no excess product, no extra unnecessary waste.
