The Long-Sleeved Stretch-Tech Party Shirt is comfortable, stretchy, breathable, and wickable. I loved the shirt’s cut: it’s loose, comfy, and extra long for the arms and torso. That cut made it super functional while riding my bike, offering plenty of maneuverability and no binding on the shoulders or arms. It drapes perfectly over my shorts, with helpful hem tails. It is an excellent long-sleeved shirt/jersey for biking, hiking, camping, concerts, etc., that provides flair and sun protection.
It’s a simple shirt with one breast pocket, buttons down the front, a double set on the wrist cuffs, and a standard shirt collar. After wearing so many bike jerseys, having an actual shirt collar was pleasant, which looks nice and provides some additional sun protection. I love bright colors and patterns, and the Bamm Bamm is a hoot.
They come in unisex short ($55) and long-sleeved ($60) versions in a slew of wild and crazy colors, so you’ll stand out in a crowd. Building on the success of its unisex sizing, the brand recently launched a women’s specific cut called the Women’s Stretch-Tech; the cut caters to those who prefer a more tapered look.

The Dirt Craft Bike Shorts are super comfy, breathable, and stretchy, with many functional pockets. The fabric is an ideal blend that offers comfort, ruggedness, and stretchiness, not too thick or thin. The 4-way stretch has an excellent give and a DWR finish, which sheds light moisture. The 12.5-inch inseam works perfectly, touches the knees for seamless pedaling, and integrates nicely with armor. It has two front pockets, two zippered thigh pockets, and a front button closure with a zipper. It uses an interesting external hook-and-webbing waist adjustment system that provides fine-tuning. The included chamois offers good padding, with just enough compression, while the mesh panels are breathable.

For protection where you need it and breathability where you don’t, the Dirt Craft LS Jersey uses Patagonia’s sturdy Airshed fabric panels at the shoulders, outer arms, and drop-tail hem, and stretchy, quick-wicking Capilene Cool Daily material on the main body, inner arms, and cuffs. Hybrid panels on the sleeves stretch to accommodate low-profile elbow pads, and the cuffs stay in place when pushed up the forearms.
Impressions
The Dirt Craft Bike Jersey is light, airy, and highly breathable. It has an extra-extended cut, a loose body drape, and baggy arms. I like an oversized jersey with plenty of room and maneuverability, but this one seems a bit overly big and baggy. The arms felt billowy—think the Seinfeld episode “The Puffy Shirt,” where Jerry’s long-sleeved, button-up shirt has puffy billowing sleeves. I liked the jersey’s main body; its dropped and extended hem offers excellent coverage, and it dissipated moisture without any issues. Sometimes, the sleeves didn’t seem to wick moisture as well as the main body, perhaps due to the combination of the Capilene and Airshed fabrics and the bagginess.

Impressions
The Alpaca Wool Sweatpants are warm, stretchy, comfy, and made from 100% Royal Alpaca Wool Fabric. The Alpaca Wool Fabric offers superb thermo-regulation, wickability, breathability, odor resistance, and natural anti-bacterial capabilities. The pants are a tad thick, which provides some additional insulation and durability, but they are not overly bulky. They have a simple design, with 2-inch ankle cuffs, two side pockets, and a stretch 1.5-inch waist hem. The cut is somewhat baggy (sorry, no tight jeans look), but that makes them easy to slip on, and they never feel constricting, like a perfect pair of outdoor pajamas. They are excellent for outdoor activities when it’s chilly and ideal for wearing under some bibs for downhill skiing. I have also used them for camping and sitting around the house on cold days.
