Based in Red Lodge, Montana, Crazy Creek has pioneered outdoor comfort since 1987. The brand is known for its innovative, lightweight chairs for adventurers, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts worldwide. This spring, Crazy Creek launched the new inflatable AirCliner, the most comfortable and compact Crazy Creek chair.
Features
The Inflatable Crazy Creek!
The AirCliner rolls up into an ultra-compact 21″ x 3″ tube and weighs 30 ounces. It uses durable ripstop nylon with TPU-welded construction and a C-Zero water-repellent coating. It features a three-dimensional weld with an inner baffle design for additional durability and comfort. For strength and stability, it uses stiff Carbon-reinforced fiberglass support stays and Rubber and nylon-reinforced hinge points for added durability at wear points.
Impressions
The AirCliner can be used as a chair, sitting flat or lounging backward. Due to its length can also be used as a sleeping pad, though it will only work as a shoulder-to-hip sleep pad. A simple 2-way airflow valve on the upper back airs up the AirCliner in five big breaths!
To inflate the AirCliner, ensure the entire valve unit is pushed in thoroughly. Pull up the valve cover so only the inner part is inserted. Blow into the inner 2-way valve to fully inflate, then close the lid. To deflate, open the entire valve until the air comes out. To roll the AirCliner, look for the small side buckles, roll up opposite those, and clasp the small straps into the side buckles.
The AirCliner is perfect for the serious backpacker—the Ultimate Luxury portable and packable chair! I’ve used it for rock concerts, camping, post-mountain bike ride hangouts, and general sitting around. I especially liked deeply lounging backward in the chair. The fiberglass support stays are Carbon-reinforced for additional stiffness, and thick rubber and nylon-reinforced hinge points provide ruggedness and durability at the wear points. The durable ripstop nylon is pretty tough, but like any lighter air mattress design, you must be careful of sharp objects and debris that could pierce the material. I never had any issues, and I used it in plenty of nastier outdoor conditions, where its ruggedness was tested. Once the chair is rolled up, it is compact and easy to toss into a vehicle for transportation or strapped to a pack.
The inflatable AirCliner is an uber-comfy, ultra-compact, durable, packable, and lightweight chair!
