Impressions
The NESTOUT 4-Panel Solar Charger (SOLAR-1) generates up to 28 W of power. It can charge smartphones, lights, batteries, earbuds, cameras, electronics, GPS devices, and tablets through its dual USB-A ports (with protective rubber covers). I believe the solar panels utilize Maxeon cells. It easily integrates with their power banks for an efficient and cohesive power system you can use anywhere. At only 1.6 lbs, this small, foldable solar charger is light and easy to pack for any adventure, whether car camping, post-bike rides, etc. Once the panels are folded out, the back side has two Velcro-adjustable wands (kickstands) that help you adapt the panels to any terrain, environment, or situation. The kickstands are easy to position or reposition to capture the sun’s rays, which can increase power generation efficiency (right angle to the sun). The maximum electrical generation efficiency is 24%. It’s made with durable, water-repellent, and stain-resistant ripstop nylon, ensuring reliable outdoor performance; however, like any flexible solar panels, they are somewhat fragile (don’t poke them with a knife). Be careful after sitting in the sun, as the panels can get hot.
One side of the zippered top pocket can hold any of their power banks (5000, 10000, and 15000 mAh), which are held in place by an elastic band. The other side has two open-weave sleeves for holding cables and other accessories. The USB-A port has a current checker LED readout, indicating the amperes (0.1 A units) used by the connections.
I was charging their 15000 mAh power bank, and the readout showed 3.2 A in full sun. Note that the readout does not equate to the amount of energy generated, though the devices can draw more current with brighter sunshine.
Since the panel system is pretty light and can act like a kite, you’d need to brace it or ensure it is held down during heavy winds. However, when the power banks are in their sleeves, their weight helps keep the panels securely in place.

Impressions
The NESTOUT 15000 mAh is a portable, stout, and monstrous power bank. Although it’s slightly heavy (12.8 oz), it’s more than reasonable for a 32-watt/15,000mAh device. Its multi-device functionality allows it to charge smartphones, lights, batteries, earbuds, cameras, electronics, GPS devices, and tablets through three charging ports (two USB-A and one USB-C). I liked how their FLASH-1 light perfectly integrates into one side of the 15000 mAh while leaving one port open for charging. It is also compatible with their smaller LAMP-1 lantern.
It’s built like a tank and is rugged, dustproof, shock-resistant, and waterproof (IPX6/IPX7 tests). It suits any terrain and mimics an old-school vintage fuel bottle (modern yet classic). It has two screw caps that tightly seal the charge ports closed when not in use.

For safety purposes, it utilizes a six-circuit protection system against temperature changes, short circuits, overcharge, over-discharge, overvoltage, and overcurrent. If it was completely drained, it took about 3.5 hours to recharge the 15000 mAh, which was rare since I always juiced it back up when it got low. I likely averaged around 2+ hours to replenish the power bank. The power button and LED indicator worked exceptionally well and helped determine charge levels.
It comes with a short USB-C cable, though I wish it included the mini-tripod that the FLASH-1 light has since it makes it worthwhile to hold up the battery during usage.

Impressions
The FLASH-1 flashlight is the sort of LED panel light you’d see attached to a camera or used to illuminate someone on a Zoom call. It uses 20 LEDs in the panel and offers direct forward light for concentrating lumens on a more localized focal point.
The light integrates or connects to any of their power banks in the 5000, 1000o, and 15000 mAh sizes via a small screw-on adapter and a locking clamp with a push-button release. The light has a male USB-A connector that connects off-angle to the power bank’s female USB-A port. The connection system works well enough but is fiddly and not very intuitive, and it would be a bummer if you lost the small adapter.
The rotary switch to power on the light and adjust the brightness is much like a burner on a backpacking stove. It has a distinctive click start, and an almost complete turn takes it from a calm 30 lumens to a blinding 1000 lumens. I liked how the LED panel can be tiled nearly 180 degrees, offering several angles to illuminate things. I found it excellent at campsites for use in a tent or on a table, reading, cooking, etc. My favorite thing I used it for was background lighting for picture taking.
The mini-tripod was an excellent, highly functional tool that screwed into the 1/4″ camera port on the bottom of all their power banks. The tripod had a lower and middle position and a clip hole on the bottom to hang the light upside down from a cord or mini-carabiner.
