Megamat, the world’s most comfortable, self-inflating basecamp mat, is updated for 2025 and includes recycled face fabrics, a visual refresh, a top-up pump, and practical carry handles. The Megamat Duo now features two large deflation valves and 30% more foam coring for faster, easier deflation, lighter weight, and smaller pack size.
MegaMat has 4 inches of soft foam at its core for support and warmth. Horizontal air channels in the foam help reduce weight and packed volume without sacrificing comfort. To enhance the cradling effect, the mat’s surface features a brushed, stretch tricot polyester that relieves pressure points (hips and shoulders) while evenly supporting the body across all surfaces, head to foot. Vertical 3-D sidewalls allow the top surface to extend out to the edge of the mat without tapering, maximizing the usable sleeping surface – just like a bed at home! They are updating the internals with a more extensive coring system for faster inflation and deflation and a smaller packing size.
This year, they are adding a handle to make it easier to move around; for durability, it utilizes a double-laminated construction.
