Particular attention was paid to the integration of modern safety and maintenance features. The LOUISE ELITE brake master is fully compatible with Bosch eBike ABS systems (modes: Touring, Touring, Trail) and provides the ideal technical foundation for precise ABS function thanks to its increased oil flow volume.
MAGURA is also using the new EASY LINK technology in this price range for the first time – a tool-free, integrated hose connection that enables up to 40% faster and cleaner installation. As a plug’n play connection between the brake hose and brake master, the EASY LINK technology also simplifies maintenance.

Rub-free, quiet, and easy to maintain. The new LOUISE ELITE is a universal talent that works subtly in the background. While the caliper is based on the proven MT5, its internals have been completely redesigned. New machining of the piston chambers and sealing areas ensures especially consistent and reliable piston retraction. This minimizes rubbing noises, even after hundreds of kilometers. It is complemented by the revised friction ring design of the MDR-S 2.0 brake rotors, which helps reduce potential noise.
Additionally, the LOUISE ELITE can be retrofitted for the first time compared to the MT5 with a bleed valve at the caliper, making service work easier.

The design of the brake is deliberately simple and integrative. Thanks to the compact radial brake master design, the LOUISE occupies very little space on the handlebar, simplifying its combination with accessories. The one-piece Carbotecture clamp supports the clean look and allows for direct mounting of shift or dropper post levers using MAGURA SHIFTMIX IG. Despite its one-piece design, the clamp can be clipped onto the handlebar without removing the handlebar grip.
Matching its compact design, the LOUISE ELITE weighs only 250 g* and is significantly lighter than its competitors.

MAGURA presents MDR-S 2.0 brake rotor
With the new MDR-S 2.0, MAGURA presents a powerful new brake rotor. This newly developed rotor combines strong braking performance and outstanding heat resistance with a moderate weight, and impresses with a redesigned friction ring that helps reduce potential vibrations and noise.
The MDR-S 2.0 was developed for ambitious mountain bikers who demand uncompromising performance on the trail. At the same time, it’s ideally suited for e-bikes and urban use cases where maximum safety, comfort, and smooth running are essential.
The friction ring design of the MDR-S was already used in a 2.5 mm thick version during the launch of the GUSTAV PRO, where it successfully demonstrated its strengths. The insights gained from this successful market launch were directly incorporated into the development of the MDR-S 2.0.

Safe and comfortable braking power for vehicles weighing up to 250 kg in total. The new MAGURA CLARA PRO effortlessly stops even the heaviest bikes and ensures long service intervals thanks to extra-large brake pads.
The new CLARA PRO is designed for riders of heavy cargo bikes, city bikes, and SUVs. With an axial brake master, it offers optimal ergonomics across a variety of applications. An optional switch lever enables its use on S-pedelecs and activates the brake light even before actual braking begins.
Similar to the GUSTAV brake family, the CLARA uses extra-large calipers for maximum heat stability, 2.5 mm brake rotors, and increased pad volume. The high braking power of the CLARA stops even the heaviest loads with ease, ensuring safety and riding comfort in every situation.

Because sometimes size does matter, MAGURA has taken several components of the GUSTAV disc brakes to a new level: extra-large calipers, 2.5 mm brake rotors, and new brake pads deliver unprecedented durability and control!

At first glance, the GUSTAV ELITE bears a strong resemblance to the PRO version. However, it features a more understated design in plain black and uses a Carbotecture brake master and a Carbotecture clamp. The one-piece Carbotecture clamp contributes to the clean look and enables direct mounting of shifter or dropper post levers via MAGURA SHIFTMIX IG. Despite its one-piece design, the clamp can be clipped onto the handlebar without removing the handlebar grip.

The high-quality Carbotecture brake master features a textured lever surface with raised polygon shapes. Whether with or without gloves, the finely crafted lever provides optimal grip and feel in every situation.
