The HandleStash Bigmouth Burrito has a 2-liter capacity, which makes this the handlebar bag Goldilocks dreamed of: not too small to hold your stuff, not too big that it gets in the way. It’s Juuuuust right. The unique, wide-opening zipper easily accommodates your belongings.
Contrasting black webbing provides numerous options for securing a ski rack to your bike and attaching extra gear to the outside. Sling it over your back with the optional strap and clip your tail light to the webbing for quick rides to the store or pub.
Thoughts: The Bigmouth Burrito bag with its 2-liter capacity is about perfect for bicycle usage. It has enough volume to carry light and small items, without taking up too much handlebar space. Its size and easy attachment system make it simple to take the bag on and off as needed. I am usually not a big fan of handlebar bags for mountain biking purposes. Still, the Bigmouth Burrito boasts excellent attributes: it’s compact, features easy-to-open and close zippers, has a functional capacity, and is easy to attach.
D-rings let you carry it off the bike with the optional sling strap – don’t call it a purse! It’s a sling bag, and yes, you should wear it at your next festival. It goes with your shoes.
Water-resistant 600D polyester and ripstop nylon make this bag as dependable as it is stylish.
Thoughts: The handlebar attachment straps work perfectly, and it’s easy to thread them, snug them down, and then lock them securely into position with the locking clasps. You can adjust the straps around the daisy chain system, making it easy to attach between different equipment that may be installed on your handlebars. The main center Velcro strap was long enough to fit around my stem, but if you wanted to wrap it around the front triangle, you’d need a much longer strap. If you don’t have a tall stack under your stem, the alternative frame strap technique would be required.
Thoughts: The zippers were amazingly smooth and slipped around without any issues. The main padded compartment is broad and deep, making it easy to stash items. I tended to toss my energy bars and munchies, along with a light windbreaker or vest. I didn’t put heavier items into the compartment. Although the padding and security of the bag’s attachment kept things from moving around, it’s a location that gets bounced around significantly on a mountain bike.
