Portland, OR (Fall/Winter 2025) – Innovators for over 60 years, SMITH evolves its proprietary combination of BirdsEye Vision™ and ChromaPop™ lens technologies for Winter 2025/26 with the all new Preview goggle. The style forward goggle with refined performance sets you up to carve, slash and explore anywhere on the mountain.
Previously available exclusively in the 4D MAG Collection with interchangeable lenses, BirdsEye Vision expands into the Preview model, with medium coverage fit, to offer more variety in shape and style without compromising visual coverage and peripheral views in a fixed lens.
The addition of ChromaPop® lenses enhances contrast and natural color to make the details pop, even in flat light, while providing 100% protection against UVA / UVB rays. To minimize fogging, 5x AntiFog technology is etched into the lens for season after season of performance capabilities. 3 Layer DriWix face foam wicks moisture away from the face for added comfort while further minimizing moisture built-up and the AirEvac® ventilation system provides ultimate integration in fit and performance with SMITH helmets to aid in airflow.
Offering large enough coverage to accommodate over the glass (OTG) compatibility, the Preview also includes temple cutouts in the face foam to eliminate pressure points when eyewear is worn underneath. Accommodating a variety of face fits, the Preview is also available in Low Bridge Fit for faces with a lower nose bridge and/or a wide or high cheekbone shape.
