Featuring their mid-rise, stay-put, zipper-and-snap waistband, these pants are made for days on the trail, at the park, and for grabbing a coffee with friends in between. Zippers at the ankle make changing or adjusting pads a breeze, while their lightweight yet durable 4-way stretch fabric moves with you. Moto-inspired pintuck detailing adds structure and style to these fierce pants.
Tested => Shredly Vented All Time Zipper Snap Mid-Rise Pant, Color: Heidi, Size: 10
Now that winter has approached and we’re entering what Bellinghamsters (yes, we are Bellinghamsters) call “The Big Dark,” I can’t even consider riding in shorts with leg warmers. The cool temperatures and sloppy trails require solid, weather-appropriate gear. I tested out Shredly’s Vented All Time Zipper Snap Mid-Rise Pant in a size 10. The sizing seemed spot on. Speaking of sizing, these pants come in sizes 00 to 24, a huge range of 14 different sizes! Lots of color choices as well–Heidi (think jungle), Deep Sea Green, Midnight, Nebula Pink, and Noir.
Overview
Shredly bills these pants as moto-inspired, likely due to the perforated fabric on the back and the pockets that double as vents. The gusseted inseam and knee articulation are both features that also appear in moto pants. The All Time Zipper Snap Mid-Rise Pant is also available in a non-vented version. I would always recommend a vented pant if you have that option. The venting is in the back, so when the wind hits you from the front, you still have great protection, but the back venting really lets you let off some steam. In the photos, the venting fabric appears with tiny dots, which are air holes or perforations.

Technical Details
You like knee pads? No problem. These pants have a generous 17″ zip beginning at the ankle that makes pulling pads on and off a breeze. Even with the tapered fit, which prevents the pants from meeting the drivetrain, you still have room to put on pads without completely undressing. The zipper is also protected with a fabric cover to keep the muck out. The ankle is snugly held with solid elastic, again helping prevent your pant leg from getting caught in the bike bits.

Although the pants do not have belt loops, the partial elastic waistband holds them in place and helps prevent slippage. I like the fitted look of the snaps and zipper, rather than elastic alone. It’s a more tailored look. Speaking of a tailored look, notice the pintucks above and below the knee — this level of detail really adds extra style to the pants. And of course, I love the jungle fabric of the Heidi color option! Nice and spicy.
The fabric is what Shredly calls EcoMove, which is exactly what it sounds like–super stretchy and made from recycled materials. Incidentally, Shredly even prints their tags on post-consumer recycled paper. EcoMove fabric is lightweight but feels fairly durable and abrasion-resistant. I can also attest to the fabric’s water-repellent and quick-drying qualities…Yes, the world tried to soak me.

The pants come with an abundance of mesh pockets, giving you four choices for stashing your items. You also have four venting options when you overheat, because that mesh lets air flow well. Let me just say thank you for providing pockets big enough to hold things. All too often, women’s designs either don’t have pockets or have tiny pockets for I don’t know what. We’ve got items, and we don’t have baby-sized hands.
