An evolution of the award-winning LIFALOFT™ insulation, first launched in 2018 in response to feedback from professional alpine skiers seeking greater warmth and versatility with less bulk, the new LIFALOFT™ styles feature an updated insulation construction with 40% higher loft than the previous version. This 100% recycled insulation remains lighter and warmer than standard insulation while delivering a superior warmth-to-weight ratio. The face fabric has also been upgraded to 20D recycled ripstop nylon, offering a softer hand feel alongside improved durability.
In addition to these updates, the new LIFALOFT™ styles feature a refined aesthetic with redesigned quilt lines that maintain the signature 11-degree angle – drawn from the Helly Hansen logo – within a continuous quilt pattern. A premium trim package further complements the elevated design, and it’s also extremely packable, fitting into a hand pocket for convenient storage when not in use.
