Drop Into the Season: Ruroc Debuts New Designs For 2026/2027 Snowsports Collection
Featuring the next-generation LITE+ open-face helmet and the award-winning RG2 modular system, Ruroc blends safety tech with bold new colorways and graphics
Ruroc officially released its 2026/2027 Snowsports collection on October 1st, with a major focus on complex paintwork and hand-applied finishes across its open-face LITE+ and modular RG2 helmet platforms. Rather than structural overhauls, this season’s drop centers on artistic craftsmanship, highlighted by difficult-to-execute metallics, high-luster chromes, and specialized hand-applied Shadow Chrome finishes designed for riders seeking standout aesthetics on the mountain.
“Riders shouldn’t have to choose between top-tier protection and looking good on the mountain,” says Anna Cipullo, Ruroc’s Brand Manager. “Ruroc has always been known for pushing the boundaries with bold designs, and we’ll absolutely continue to deliver those for our superfans, but I’m particularly stoked about the two-tone metallic finishes this year, as they really hit differently on a bluebird day in the mountains.”

Whether you prefer the freestyle silhouette of the LITE+ half-face helmet or the all-weather versatility of the RG2 full-face helmet, their 2026 lineup combines active RHEON™ linear and rotational impact protection with striking new designs. Models like Aether, Nexus, and Shift are built for freestyle riders, park laps, and all-mountain shredders who refuse to choose between safety and style. Constructed with a high-durability ABS shell and EPS liner, LITE+ delivers robust open-face helmet protection paired with a “beanie-fit” silhouette across three tailored shell sizes (YL/S, M/L, XL/XXL).

The LITE+ lineup debuts striking new designs for the season, including all-new metallics like the burnt-orange Shift, the color-shifting Aether, and deep green Nexus, joining established colorways like Core, Ghost, Chrome, and Tag. New decals include the Navigator and Fuji, which are new for LITE+ helmets, with limited-edition designs due in October. Additionally, a LITE+ Carbon will be built around a carbon shell with a raw carbon weave, serving as a premium upgrade to the standard LITE+.
All Ruroc helmets include RHEON™ Impact Technology, an active polymer that reacts instantly to absorb linear and rotational impact forces. Each helmet also features an integrated TwiceMe Medical ID chip, giving first responders instant, battery-free access to vital medical profiles and emergency contacts via a smartphone tap.

In addition to the open-face LITE+ series, the collection also highlights the ISPO Award-winning RG2, a modular full-face snowsports helmet that takes safety to a higher level. The versatile RG2 system allows riders to easily lock in the detachable face mask and removable peak for full-face protection against freezing wind, tight trees, and heavy park hits.

The RG2 comes fully loaded with RHEON™ technology, Twiceme Medical ID, Fidlock® magnetic chinstrap, Cardo communication readiness, and includes a matched goggle system in every box. For 2026/27, the RG2 brings back fan-favorite finishes including Black Pearl, Core, Ghost, Chrome, Oni, and Fuji alongside the new Aether, Nexus, Fenrir White, and Jorgmungandr.

Completing the setup, Ruroc’s snow goggles ($179 USD / £139 GBP / €159 EUR) and standalone lenses feature one of the fastest magnetic lens-change systems available. Lenses swap and lock in seconds as light shifts on the mountain, while hydrophobic and anti-fog coatings keep vision crystal clear across all LITE+ and RG2 setups.
The new Ruroc goggles range updates include Black and Ghost strap choices paired with low-light Yellow, Smoke Transition, and Iridescent lens options, with RG2 benefiting from Smoke Transition for photochromic lens lovers.
Trusted by legends like Tanner Hall, Jordane Legal, and Thomas Feurstein, the 2026 Ruroc Snow collection is designed to perform at the highest level while surviving everything in between. The 2026/2027 Ruroc Snowsports collection is officially available starting October 1st, 2026, exclusively at Ruroc.com.
