Longmont, Colo. (November 5, 2026) – REEB Cycles is introducing the next generation of its award-winning SST steel 120mm trail bike, featuring a redesigned chassis, updated geometry and improved suspension kinematics. The prototype will make its debut at the 2026 Sedona Mountain Bike Festival, November 6–8, where riders and media can get a first look at the refined platform and meet the team behind the bike.
First introduced in 2022, the SST blends the playful, rowdy character of REEB’s steel hardtails with the capability and performance of a modern full-suspension trail bike. The 120mm flex-stay platform combines custom steel tubing, innovative 3D-printed stainless steel components and proprietary suspension technology to deliver a responsive, efficient ride that’s equally comfortable crushing climbs, slapping berms and getting rowdy on technical descents. The original SST earned industry recognition, including Bikepacking.com’s 2023 Gear of the Year, Mountain Bike Action’s 2023 Editor’s Choice and a nomination for Pinkbike’s 2022 Outlier Bike of the Year.
Building on that foundation, REEB has evolved the SST’s Geometry to improve stability and confidence on technical descents while maintaining its efficient climbing performance and playful handling.
At the heart of the next-generation SST is an updated 120mm flex-stay suspension platform featuring revised kinematics designed to improve small-bump sensitivity, pedaling efficiency and overall suspension performance. These updates also expand tuning possibilities, including improved compatibility with coil shocks.
The SST’s steel chassis also receives significant engineering updates, including an additive-manufactured rocker pivot housing and enlarged bottom bracket cluster for improved alignment and a more cohesive, integrated design. A new bridged rocker linkage with a collet system delivers smoother, more consistent suspension performance, while redesigned hardware simplifies routine maintenance and makes the SST more approachable for riders who prefer turning their own wrenches. Prosise Metal Works, led by longtime REEB collaborator Adam Prosise, manufactures the rocker and suspension hardware.

It’s still the playful steel bike we love, just in a more refined and capable package. We’re excited to get it out in front of riders and hear what they think.”
Designed by the REEB team and fabricated in-house in Longmont, Colorado, the next-generation SST continues REEB’s commitment to handmade steel frames, innovative engineering, and building bikes that are as fun to ride as they are to look at. REEB’s fabrication operations are now based at Hooptie Bike Lounge, bringing frame building, a full-service bike shop, and a craft beer bar together under one roof.
