The new Smith Optics Pathway unites performance features with a perfected sunglass frame to tackle tough runs, tacky singletrack trails, and hilly hikes, season after season. Designed to support elite athletes to adrenaline adventure seekers, the full-frame performance eyewear with top-tier ChromaPop™ lenses offers fast and light features in a large coverage, 8 base wrap-style fit.

The Pathway is provided with optically tuned ChromaPop™ lenses (MSRP $139) and ChromaPop™ Polarized (MSRP $169) anti-reflective lenses that amplifies natural color and enhances definition. ChromaPop filters two specific wavelengths of light that cause color confusion to deliver greater definition, more natural color, and unmatched clarity to see more detail. For dawn and dusk activities, a Photochromic Clear to Gray lens (MSRP $189) option includes vented corners to minimize fogging when cooler temps and reduced sunlight can increase condensation. All lens options are RX compatible.

Impressions => The Pathway is stylish, lightweight, comfortable, fits perfectly and offers superb optics. It features their superb ChromaPop lens, which enhances colors and contrast, offering a vibrant “pop” of color when viewing things. The wrap-around fit frame and adequately large 8-base lens curvature offer great coverage along with side protection and wind resistance. The sticky Megol temple and nose pads provide a nonslip grip so they stay securely in place, even on bumpy singletrack. Their AutoLock hinges hold the frames securely open, and the Evolve™ bio-based frame material is lightweight and durable, and eco-friendly.

For lightweight yet durable construction that offers flexibility and remarkable toughness, Smith constructed the Pathway in eco-friendly Evolve, a 53% bio-based frame material derived from renewable, nongenetically modified castor plants. Smith developed Evolve to help reduce the use of petroleum in eyewear manufacturing and currently uses it in over 74% of its injected-polymer sunglass styles.

Yes, they have a medium fit, not too large and not too small.
