With the growing popularity of shield-style sunglasses, the new Boomtown is a sunny staple at the beach, on a boat, around town, or tackling trails. Bobcat Hybrid Shield Slays Across Seasons & Sport Disciplines

Offering complete coverage and protection across sport disciplines and seasons, the new Bobcat sunglass with ChromaPop lens technology provides the features and innovations of its best-selling counterpart, the Wildcat, in a smaller face fit and lightweight feel. The versatile crossover design with a modern fit and fierce flare pairs goggle-like performance with the airflow and comfort of a sunglass to support a vast range of adventures, from enduro trail rides to backcountry powder missions.

Constructed from Evolve™ bio-based frame material with adjustable flex, the 5-base lens curvature of the Bobcat has a slight wraparound fit across the seven color options. They are offered exclusively in interchangeable ChromaPop™ lenses – including a Photochromic Clear to Gray option – designed to cut glare while enhancing contrast, definition, natural color, and unmatched clarity on forested trails and in bright alpine bowls. A secondary clear bonus lens is also included for low-light conditions.

Flexible autolock hinges hold the Bobcat frame open for putting them on and off the face quickly with one hand. At the same time, the addition of megol temples and two-position adjustable nosepads provide a non-slip grip, so they stay on the face through rocky terrain and high-speed descents.

The new Resolve performance sunglass on foot or by bike, traveling across pavement or trail, supports all endurance endeavors in a lightweight, full wraparound fit with a semi-rimless design. The new dual-lens, interchangeable sunglass provides medium coverage and is offered exclusively in ChromaPop™ lens technology designed to cut glare while enhancing contrast, definition, natural color, and unmatched clarity to bring every rock, root, and terrain detail to life. Available across six non-polarized ChromaPop™ lens tints – including a light-sensitive Photochromic Clear to Gray lens for adapting to varied conditions. A clear secondary lens for low light and nighttime use is also included with each pair.

Mainline Enduro Helmet

Full-Face Mainline Enduro Helmet Earns eBike Certification for 2022

Designed for the elite level user, Smith’s team of product designers and engineers spent two years developing the pinnacle product with informed insights from notable Rocky Mountain Enduro athletes Remi Gauvin, Andreane Lanthier Nadeau, and Jesse Melamed. The Smith-sponsored team was crucial in formulating and refining the construction, design, features, and aesthetics of the DH-certified (CPSC CE EN 1078 and ASTM F1952). It announced this season, now eBike certified (NTA-8776) enduro helmet. For Spring/Summer 2022, the Mainline is available in five colorways, including the new Athlete Collection model designed with Iago Garay.

Expanding Smith’s collection of progressive protection, the Mainline is comprised of proven, lightweight in-mold construction featuring complete Koroyd® coverage to provide integrated skeletal structure and complete ventilated protection. The addition of a multi-directional impact protection system (MIPS®) lining reduces rotational forces that the brain is exposed to during oblique impacts to the head. Smith helmets are created to efficiently absorb direct impacts, and when combined with MIPS, the helmet liner is separated from the head by a low-friction slip plane that allows the head to slide during impact and may reduce instances of traumatic brain injuries.

Featuring 21 optimized vents, the Mainline utilizes internal air channels that combine with open intake and exhaust ports to maximize ventilation and breathability, while AirEvac™ channels promote airflow to prevent fogging when worn with goggles. Three sets of uniquely sized cheek pads, two sets of uniquely sized crown liners, and two unique neck rolls are included with each helmet to ensure a proper, customized fit. The performance pads are all comprised of hybrid X-Static® and Ionic+® anti-bacterial performance materials. All components can be easily removed for cleaning. Additional features include an adjustable visor and D-ring chinstrap fastener.
