The new Ride Concepts Men’s Tallac BOA Clip or Women’s Flume BOA Clip combines advanced off-road footwear technology with bike-specific performance to offer a trail clip shoe that’s designed to outlast the biggest epics.
Tallac BOA Clip uses the BOA Fit System for a fast, effortless, and precise fit with strong, flexible, and low-friction textile TX4 Laces. The Cordura upper is breathable and lightweight but also trail-tough and protective with a stitch-free and fully welded construction. Featuring their CLIP GRIP rubber, Tallac has a new adaptable outsole that transfers power when charging the terrain ahead and a long cleat runway for easy integration with the pedal. Compliant reverse hex traction in the toe and heel makes easier work when hiking becomes necessary.
The Men’s Tallac Clip or Women’s Flume Clip uses a traditional lacing for a tailored fit and a hook and loop strap for added retention. Otherwise, it retains the same features and technology as the Tallac BOA Clip.
Velo Saddles
The Velo “Luminous Tiger” design features flowers, forests, and white rabbits, suggesting next year’s zodiac. The Tiger King on this saddle glows in the dark using a unique luminous material making the King of the Mountain stand out. The Year of the Tiger saddle is designed on the Senso Edge mountain bike and e-bike saddle. The saddle is 158mm wide and 270mm long and weighs 330 grams with Cr-Mo rails. The Senso Edge provides full support in multiple riding positions with the center channel providing superior pressure relief and proper airflow.
The anti-slip design on the cover keeps riders in place in aggressive climbing positions and wet conditions. Using Velo’s innovative reversed ArcTech design, riders can feel stability and support in varying positions to maximize comfort and performance. The integrated I-Carry “handle” on the rear of the saddle aids in lifting and maneuvering heavier e-bikes during transport. The Senso Edge utilizes Velo’s AirForm technology, designed for distributing weight evenly and forming to the rider’s contact point.
SaltStick
I was fascinated by SaltStick’s yet-to-be-released Electrolyte drink mix, which I found to be very tasty; a nice combination of sweet and salty. Their FastChews are delicious, chewable tablets that provide a similar ratio of electrolytes to what your body loses through sweat. Their scientific formula relies on cleanly sourced, buffered ingredients to help minimize heat stress and muscle cramping due to dehydration without causing stomach discomfort. FastChews are ideal for anyone who sweats, including athletes and outdoor workers, or in situations where you need a boost of electrolytes.
This new drink mix should offer the same benefits as their FastChews tablets, but it will be consumed via water bottles and hydration reservoirs.
Lizard Skins
The Lizard Skins DSP Game Controller Grip is compatible with all the systems on the market. The grip texture is optimized for the different touch-points of your fingers and the polymer feel is unlike any synthetic rubber. You’ll wonder how you ever played without one.
They started to make a slew of specific Baseball Bat Grips when some pros desired the product. The oval pattern with added multi-directional ridges for better performance and a reformulated polymer for enhanced feel and durability. Features a new premium adhesive and installation call-outs on the grip for ease of use.
Their main claim to fame is still their lock-on grips.

Ripton
Ripton makes jorts; “jean shorts” or “denim shorts”; along with Jean Overalls, and Jeans. Their jorts were pretty nifty and could be worn around town, at home, or for a bike ride. They come in cut-offs or hemmed styles, and in several color schemes.
