With the new MDR-S 2.5 rotors, braking with the GUSTAV is quieter than ever! The optimized friction ring design and the high rigidity of the thick rotor ensure low vibration and particularly quiet braking, even under high loads. And lengthy braking is a thing of the past: GUSTAV gets you up to speed without a time-consuming bedding-in protocol. Ride off and enjoy a smooth ride right from the start after a short run-in.
Thanks to less heat development, glazing of the brake pads is particularly unlikely.

Extra thick brake pads with 40 % more volume and thick 2.5 mm brake rotors with a 2.1 mm wear limit keep you out of the workshop.
OIL CRISIS? NOT WITH US!
With double the oil volume in the expansion reservoir (7 ml), we have done everything possible to ensure that bleeding is rarely necessary. If the worst happens, our new bleed valve ensures it is a clean affair. The oil channel has no dead-end streets or dangerous corners, so you can relax and catch every air bubble.
INSTALLATION WITH EASE!
The GUSTAV PRO relies on a large air gap between the rotor and pad to ensure the brake caliper can be adjusted quickly without grinding.
And if the piston does not sit perfectly in your caliper, the rigid brake rotor ensures that the pads align themselves.

We like to decelerate. However, with two new technologies, MAGURA presents two fast alternatives to the classic clamping ring connection of brake lines and components for effortless installation and maintenance.
PLUG’N PLAY FOR YOUR BRAKE HOSE
The quick and flexible way to connect and disconnect a hose. And as often as you like. From this model year, EASY LINK will be integrated into the GUSTAV PRO and also available as a retrofit valve for MAGURA MT disc brakes.
QUICK INITIAL INSTALLATION
After installation, click the brake hose with EASY LINK into the brake master. Bleeding and other work steps are no longer necessary! Thanks to EASY LINK, we can deliver the GUSTAV PRO’s brake calliper and brake master separately and pre-filled. This makes it easier to replace them in case of a defect or crash.
EASY MAINTENANCE

A few jobs on a bike can be annoying: opening the brake, cutting off the olive connection, unthreading, reconnecting the brake, and bleeding the brake.

TECHNOLOGY FOR CREATING HOSE CONNECTIONS
MAGURA presents the new EASY TUBE Technology (ETT) to make EASY LINK and other hose connections particularly easy to produce yourself.
All you need is a hose by the meter and the corresponding connection sets.
This is more flexible, cheaper, and less wasteful, especially for specialist dealers. Now, retailers can assemble their requirements from a roll of yard goods to the exact centimeter and use them flexibly.
