Roof-top tent manufacturer Tepui has the new hard case HyBox 2-in-1 tent and gearbox system, the Low-Pro low profile tent, the Camp Lounge kit with chairs and a table, and the functional Kitchen kit which offers a portable setup for cooking and cleanup.
HyBox
Tepui is expanding its roof-top tent lineup with the new hard shell HyBox, which is two products in one design, it can be a rooftop tent or a gearbox. Sleep in the HyBox as an elevated tent which is accessed via the usual Tepui folding stairs or remove the tent and mattress and have a roomy gearbox. The HyBox utilizes gas struts to make opening and closing a breeze, which will be ideal for a sudden deluge of inclement weather.
To use the HyBox as a gear and cargo box, you just zip off the fabric and mesh tent walls and remove the mattress and then open it clamshell style to carry skis, snowboards, poles, apparel, tools, duffles, luggage, ropes, or any other large items or stuff you desire. There are latches on either end so that you can pop it fully open for tent usage or halfway open for gear/cargo access.
The HyBox retails for $2,800 and includes the ABS hardshell exterior with latches and gas-struts, a top padded ceiling, the zip-in tent, ladder, and mattress. Like their current hardtop Lightning, the HyBox utilizes their ZipperGimp system to transform between its tent and gearbox modes. The downscaled HyBox offers 13 inches (33 cm) of internal height, while the Lightning provides only 4 in (10 cm) but includes fiberglass composite casing and integrated roof bars.
Low-Pro
The new roof-top Low-Pro tent at 7″ thick is supposed to be the thinnest on the market, meaning the lowest profile.
The all-new canopy has a redesigned design and interior, uses a lighter material, a sturdy non-PVC cover, and a new tec composite base with improved insulating properties. Even with the new materials and all white color, it’s supposed to take abuse without scratching and tearing. Prices start at $1,625.
Camp Lounge
This will be the ultimate lounge setup that will come in a portable grab-in-go bag. The kit includes two reclined loungers, a dually lounger, and adjustable table and a carrying case.
Kitchen
The is a sweet lightweight and portable setup for cooking and cleanup. It includes a prep station with integrated components, a wash basin for cleanup, a cook station with wind blocking panels and a nice carrying case. It’s a functional design that gives you counter space, a sink, and a surface for your stove for when you’re base and car camping. Other little touches are a lantern pole, hooks for cooking tools and utensils, a towel rack/rung, removable shelves for kitchen accessories, and trash bag holder. Retail pricing is $265.
