Last year Fireside Industries introduced the Campfire Defender fire cover that helps reduce or eliminate campsite fire hazards by preventing hot embers from escaping the fire pit, this year they released the innovative and highly functional Pop-Up Pit fire pit system.

The Pop-Up Pit sets up in just 60 seconds and cools down in 90 seconds so you can pack it away after your fire. It measures 24″ x 24″ x 15″ when fully opened and only 5″ x 5″ x 27″ when folded up in its carrying bag and weighs less than 8 lbs.

The Pop-Up Pit Heat Shield allows the Pop-Up pit to be used on heat sensitive surfaces. Their aerospace inspired heat shield reflects 98% of heat and allows the ground to stay cool to the touch. IT means no scorched ground or grass and follows the ‘Leave No Trace behind’ paradigm.
