Rivian R1T an all-electric pickup five-passenger pickup truck that will be equipped with four 147 kW (197 horsepower) electric motors at each wheel and will offer up to 11,000-pound of towing capacity. The R1T which the company says it will deliver in late 2020 with three battery pack options; a 105-kWh battery with a range of 230 miles, a 135-kWh with 300 miles, and finally a 180-kWh with 400 miles. They tossed out some incredible specs such 753 horsepower and 826 lb-ft of torque and 0-60 mph acceleration of 3.0 seconds for the 135-kW, while the 180-kW gets 522 horsepower and 826 lb-ft of torque and a 0-60 of 3.2 seconds. Starting price of $69,000, ouch!
The back has some nice lights and a full-width light strip.
Since the motors sit by the wheels, there is a reasonably cavernous space under the front hood, along with a truck wide gear tunnel behind the rear seat.
