After several years of development work, outerwear experts GORE Wear launched its first cross country (XC) skiing collection in 2018, extending its portfolio beyond its widely known and award-winning bike and running wear for the first time. Thoughts => The entire lineup looks comfortable, perfect for movement, feature-filled, and incredible functionality for XC specific usage. However, I think it would work just fine for running and mountain biking.
“Our mission was to design a collection that balances contrary needs. Cross country skiers need a wide motion range in the upper body and arms area, yet an athletic fit. And while being protected against wind chill and cold, the fabric must allow enough breathability and ventilation to avoid overheating. So it was crucial to give it a practical try and listen to athletes’ feedback,” said Kristina Mora, product designer
