Glerups Wool Felt Slippers

Danish footwear brand Glerups makes stylish, slippers, shoes, and boots made from 100% felted wool. Wool naturally wicks moisture, thermoregulates to keep your feet warm or cool, has good wear resistance, and offers excellent odor control.

They make their shoes in three styles: The Shoe, The Slip-On, and The Boot. Each of those styles is available with a leather sole, and natural rubber sole. Depending on the style and sole, they come in several color combinations.

They currently have a fun Limited Edition Lime color that’s on sale, and in September, they’ll have a new gray-colored rubber sole model in each of their styles.

Glerups utilize 100% pure, natural wool that is still crafted with love and care from the sheep to your foot. Glerups perfected their wool mix by blending Gotland wool with quality wool from New Zealand farmers. These farmers meet glerup’s high standards for consistent quality and humane animal welfare. 

After the sheep are sheared, glerups wool goes through many processes and hands to ensure the highest quality and a perfect fit. The wool is washed in soft water, then carded and felted. The felt is formed into socks, which are steam-felted for a perfect fit before soft calfskin or rubber soles are glued, then sewn on, for lasting durability.
